Recruitment:
LotF is a semi-casual 10 man raid guild with two active groups. Group 1 has a more serious focus with progression in mind. They current utilize a loot council system to reflect this. Group 2 is more casual minded and uses a suicide kings loot method for even loot distribution.
Currently Group 1 raids 7:30-10:30 server time Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. Group 2 raids 7:30-10:30 server time Saturday and Sunday.
If you would like to join us, please click on the recruitment link to the left and submit an application. We are currently accepting all 18+ applicants into the guild, however, raid slots are not guaranteed but will be allotted based on performance and attendance. Group 1 is currently looking for a Mage or Warlock.
Group 1 News:
Grats on Throne of the Four Winds Conclave of the Wind! That places the guild at 9/12 regular. All we have left are the end bosses of each raid.
Group 2 News:
UPDATE: First run has been moved to 02/19/11.
We will be shooting for a first run on Feb 5th & 6th. The Guild Event is up in the in-game calendar. Please sign up.
Group 2 will be using a modified Suicide Kings loot system. If you are unfamiliar with this loot system you can find additional information here. On the first night of our raid I will use an in-game roll to assign the initial loot list. For right now we will use a single list for all of T11 content. This may change as the groups needs do. New raid members will be placed at the bottom of the list. PUGs will be placed at the top.
Performance & Attendance
Performance and Attendance will be monitored closely as we will be striving for progress. The largest problems we had with WotLK raiding were repeat attendance, skipped sign up, and performance issues by a few members. To counteract this everyone in Group 2 will be held to the following:
- Required to sign up for at least 40% of all Group 2 raids and attend or make yourself available for 90% of the raids signed up for. Failure to do so will place you on a loot suspension, making you unable to receive raid loot until your attendance situation is addressed.
- Your performance will be evaluated on a individual basis. If it is determined that your performance could be improved, coaching will be handled in a private discussion on a non-raid night. Failure to improve after repeat coaching may result in loss of your raid slot.
Please do not perceive this as overly harsh. Legion is a casual raid guild. We are all here to have fun. If loot happens, that is great too. However, part of every-one's enjoyment is progressing further in the raid dungeon. If we have one or two members holding us down, we will work with you. However, if you can not or will not work with us, we need to take steps to ensure the overall progress and enjoyment of the guild.
If you have any questions please see me in game or on vent.
